Le petit déjeuner (breakfast) is usually quite small in size and children often drink hot chocolate in bowls with French bread or pastries (yummy!)

In some places in France, a traditional le déjeuner (lunch) can last for around two hours, but most schools and work places now have one hour lunches instead. Le dîner (dinner) is eaten a bit later than in the UK – often from 7.30pm - and it’s common to have a cheese course as well as dessert, especially when friends or family visit. (Would you like your family and friends round all of the time?)
les boissons - Drinks
